Summer 1998:
Twelve girls with similar callings began to pray about the possibility of beginning a weekly time of worship and Bible study for young women.

August 1998: The same twelve girls spent the night in a small house in Belton, Texas, sharing their testimonies and callings.

September 1998: First SAGE community Bible study draws nearly 100 girls to worship together.

Spring 1999: SAGE begins leading three-week Bible studies on Wednesday nights at area churches.

Summer 1999: SAGE leads first weekend retreat in Houston, Texas, including responsibilities for entire Sunday night service.

Fall 1999: SAGE attends Youth Ministers' Conclave in Dallas, Texas, and discovers the uniqueness of their ministry. Through the contacts made at Conclave, SAGE begins traveling regularly to lead weekend retreats and conferences.

Spring 2000-Present: SAGE continues to travel to communities of all sizes, leading conferences and retreats that teach the principles of becoming a godly woman.

Summer 2005: SAGE Global is launched as the team leads a group of high school students on an international mission experience to Cologne, Germany.

September 2008: SAGE celebrates in Rockwall, Texas, with a 10-year birthday bash, reflecting on an incredible decade of ministry to more than 10,000 girls and women around the world.
