In Proverbs 11:22, the Bible boldly declares, "Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion."

When we take the initiative to seek out a boy's affection, then we are showing no discretion. We are taking dating matters into our own hands rather than trusting God to bring the right boy into our lives.

Next time you're thinking about text-messaging the boy next door to get his attention, put down that cell phone and trust in the Lord to do the rest.
